Chris shared his experiences with us through video, talk, samples of equipment and even genuine pieces of Antarctic ice for us to look at and feel.
We were able to get a real sense of the beauty and majesty of the frozen continent through his images and samples but also how hostile an environment it is, and how difficult it is to visit and explore Antarctica.
